The Courage House- A Heart for Marriage, Family and Youth healing.
Vision: The Courage House is the Parent Ministry that branches out to other ministry visions, focused on the Family, Marriage, Singles, and Youth Counseling and Healing Center.
Mission: To change the Family and marriage trajectory from multiple failures to successes by providing Christian based counseling and programing that would foster community wellness, friendship and professional guidance to a better living. Providing foundational principles for relationships, leading to successful and lasting marriages which would in turn yield healthy families and youths for a thriving society.
The Story of the courage House by the founder - As a single mom, I began desiring a platform for providing guidance and counseling for families and marriages, after my two failed marriages. Through multiple counseling and therapy sessions, I have been able to identify the root cause of the failures that I had in my marriages- choosing the right person, facing and mitigating the marriage challenges the right way and the critical assignment of raising young people who would become committed in their marriages.
In all of these, there are skills to be developed and released into our communities, TCH covers most of these in the different arms of the organization.
The Family counseling arm is designed to provide Christian based counseling and therapy to married couples and their young ones who are having a difficult family life. TCH also has an arm for Group of Counselors with different tiers for providing counseling and a group gathering for each category of people to aid in healing and giving back to our community.
The Wedding Center is designed to pull singles together who share the same Christian values and faith. The wedding center includes all the entire journey of singlehood to marriage while providing guidance, connection, counseling and tools for preparing for marriage prior to the marriage vows and wedding day. TCH focal arm is the AVYO In-Gathering App which is designed to connect singles gathered in a specific event, allowing them to interact and find their matches on the platform. These events are preplanned and the organization partners with the event owners/planners to bring singles in their event together.
TCH Business and Skill Arm comprises of the TCH Bakery, Event Center and the Art Galleria. The Art Galleria is a skill development area for young skills in art work, music, dance, spoken word art, etc. The Galleria is designed to support arts participation and learning in diverse settings and contexts for infants, children, and young girls and boys using programs that directly bridge barriers to access and participation. TCH provides arts, creative, or cultural programming/services.
